Greenleaf Residence

This post and beam design with commercial storefront windows was designed for builder Bill Brickowski and Peter and Mary Lynn. The plan was constrained by an existing foundation and retaining wall from an earlier proposed house. The steep site provides a perch with silvan views towards the Hoyt Arboretum and Pittock Mansion. Curving glu-lam beams and fir decking frame the two story living room volume with partial mezzanine offering life among the trees.
