Park Kitchen 422 NW 8th Ave

Opening onto the North Park Blocks through a glass roll-up door, Park Kitchen is an intimate restaurant and bar. Park Kitchen's chef/owner Scott Dolich uses locally-sourced ingredients in an carefully crafted, changing seasonal menu and this space was conceived to compliment the restaurant's mission. The interior is designed as a sequence of spatial experiences from the park-facing tables, to the intimate bar, to the dining area that opens to the kitchen. The materials capitalize on the colors and textures of the region: natural fir, spring green and burnt orange walls, copper bar and tabletops, glass mosaic tile and suede upholstery. The later expansion added a private dining room, prep kitchen and offices, connecting to the restaurant.
